Poles in Dublin; Irish Everywhere

Overheard at a restaurant in the South of France: A 20-ish woman complains, in an Irish accent, that Dublin now has a 100,000 Polish people living in it (I can not vouch for this number in any way). A bit earlier, she had complained about their behavior, but I did not catch the nature of the complaint. An older Irish man at the next table gently reminded her that it was not long ago when Irish too spread out across the world.
