Can Google Save the Earth?

Google has announced a project with the U.S. Holocaust Museum to help raise awareness of the genocide in Darfur.

What else could Google do with its vast computer resources well-suited to information location and dissemination?

My first thought is that it might help coordinate information about refugees, so that family members can find each other.  Perhaps a joint project with UNHCR (the UN High Commission for Refugees) should be next on Google's agenda?

What would you suggest?
