Stealth Candidates for the Supreme Court

Like his father before him, George W. Bush has nominated a "stealth" candidate, someone who cloaks his or her opinions in shadows so as to deny inquisitors a basis for denying the position.  But unlike his father, George W. Bush actually knows the stealth candidate personally.  His father relied on the vetting of John Sununu, where George W. Bush can rely upon his own decades' long knowledge of the candidate.  This is a true stealth candidate from the perspective of the person appointing him.  The President, and not just the candidate, can be stealthy, the president and the candidate now both sharing knowledge that is not publicly disclosed.
